Ladies and Gentlemen,

Since New Era's release three months ago, the reception the slashTHREE staff and artists have received for this project has been mind-blowing. It was on show at OFFF 2011, as well as SIGGRAPH 2011 and on our very own online shop. We are proud to report that the "New Era" books have been completely sold out, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the overwhelming amount of support.

Today however, the collective proudly unveils its seventeenth exhibition, an exhibition in which the artists were asked to reflect on some of the literature that inspires them in their daily lives. Each piece in "Quote/Unquote" is based on a quote – famous, cultural, or even from the artist's own life – and is created to represent that quote and its meaning to the artist. The result is a library of 60 of the collective's finest and most personally meaningful works to date.

Just before the New Era project was launched, slashTHREE welcomed Tarin Yuangtrakul, a 19 year old artist from Thailand. Tarin's impact on the collective was instantaneous, and his two submissions to "Quote/Unquote" demonstrate the progress he has made as an artist since joining the collective, and showed true dedication to the exhibition. Tarin's sublime mixture of traditional and digital art was something new which captivated the entire artist core. Tarin Yuangtrakul has become not only the first traditional artist to be named as the "featured artist" for a slashTHREE exhibition, but also the youngest artist in slashTHREE's history to receive the honour. Site Director Saad Moosajee sat down with Tarin to discuss life and art; you can read the interview here.

There is a number of amazing things coming from SlashTHREE in the second half of 2011, so keep an eye on our

Yes,i'm still alive,probably some of you didn't believe it,but i am.
actually i have 3-4 works in a hidden chamber that will be revealed really soon,and i have also big news for you guys.
S3 is actually working on his best artpack ever,and there will also be a surprise by the artgroup,so,just stay tuned,the wait is not too long;desktopography will release his exhibition as like as every year,and also here it will happen something new; i'm working on another thing,waiting to see if it will be approved or not,if it does i'll show you;i'm gonna start my graphic school the 3rd of november,can't wait!then you'll probably see also typography,graphic design,webdesign etc. from me!

what else should i say? just stay tuned and wait for the releases guys!

Finally i'm done,i've had to fight with html,but i had a nice result,at least in my opinion,my new website is out!!!

Just wanted to inform you about something:

-first of all i finished my secondary school's last year,i passed with 60100 (minimum),but i don't really care about it,i didn't like that school and also i've never studied during the latest two years,so,it's perfect! finally free!!!

Colour, brightness and obscurity abound as the slashTHREE international art collective releases its 14th exhibition, entitled “Le Cirque Des Couleurs”. This theme invited the artists not only to explore their brighter and more vibrant side but also to create free flowing, abnormal, 'circus' like imagery.  On top of this, the collective has come together to create “Le Grand Cirque Des Couleurs”, a massive typographical collaboration in which volunteers from the collective created pieces of art based around a letter of their choosing. For conceiving and administrating this project from start to end, our sincere thanks go to Mart Biemans, and Evan Bohringer the director and coder for this first-time slashTHREE project.

The collective has chosen to outline the tremendous contributions of Erik Schumacher.  With outstanding determination, dedication, consistency and activity since he became a member of the collective, Erik has not failed to submit to an exhibition, and has provided in-depth, thoughtful feedback on the pieces submitted by his fellow artists; his incredible ensemble of matte paintings and character based illustrations seemed to fit right in with our 14th exhibitions theme. For Le Cirque Des Couleurs Erik produced three stunning illustrations of superb quality and style, and has most definitely earned his place as this pack’s Featured Artist. slashTHREE is on the verge of a new era. With major projects in the pipeline such as slashTHREE Version 4, we aim to change the face of this collective and make your experience even better, this truly is the place to be in the future.
